maybe you have read the book "for and against" before, it's a practical book for advanced students of english.

the book "for and against" written by "L. G. Alexander" contains 40 advanced articles about social issues.
this book contains very useful words, idioms and phrases

article number 6 is about clothing and fashion

new fashions in clothing are created solely for the commercial exploitation of women

what do you think? is it true? do you follow fashion? if not, whats your idea about people who follow fashion?

is it good to follow fashion ?

I rarely follow fashion ..cause a specific trend can't possibly fit everyone...So I'd rather choose the cloths that fit me more rather than those that are on the market ! Plus,fashion is just to restrictive ...and the way it is followed in Iran is boring too....for instance,there was a time when every one wore yellow scarves...It felt like school uniforms !

For some ,of course,following fashion is amusing ....But to consider it a compulsion rather than a hobby is excruciating both to your life and your pocket's.​

following fashion is ridiculous in my idea u know u go and just wear what many people wear
and people who follow fashion - some of them - just wanna say hey look at me im wearing fashions im different than u im special but seriously ? do they think clothes can make'em special ?
