راه طولانی و نور مهتاب و نغمه بلند آهنگ و آواز، و گیتار هفت‌سیمه کهنه‌ای که تا خود صبح می‌نواخت.
همه آن آوازها و غزل‌ها به پوچی رفت و همه شب‌هامان به بیهودگی سوخت.
اکنون هرچه بود را به گذشته‌ها سپردیم و آن شبانه‌ها هم به پایان آمد.
سرنوشت این است که دیگر هرکسی راه خود گرفته و رهسپار منزل خویش شود.
سوار بر سورتمه‌ زنگوله‌دار می‌راندیم، ولی دیرزمانی است که از هم گذر کرده‌ایم...
