FCE exam is more related to English literature than usage of English.
personally I prefer exams like FCE and alike.
Im now studding for CAE exam and it really demands high English grammar and also vast knowledge about Shakespeare and other British writers and poets.Its really hard but I think it worth it!

I have taken TOEFL and I like it better.
But IELTS is easier.I have studied for it and I think it's easier.

first of all IELTS is british and a bit harder for people who learned American English our teacher told us that IELTS does have one other disadvantageous too it is unpredictable meaning that today you go and give the exam and get 7 tomorrow you go and give it again this time you get 5 and it is not a good scale for understanding the english knowledge In toefl you can be sure that by learning specific amount of time your score will increase ,e.g. 2 points.​

But my teacher sait that FCE is acceptable in most of the univercities!
And also it is valid for life !​

I participated in IELTS exam six month ago and I have got 6.5.It was not great deal but i to get mark about 6 or 7 ,you have got to practice hard.If you need information about the test ask me to write here. :)

I like and prefer IELTS.....toffel is very grammatical :-&

I think FCE & IELTS are better and two day ago i have taken PET . the listening was very difficult because they were british and i just study american . after some terms I shoud take FCE and they say it is very hard
