Which ENG exam do u prefer?TOEFL/IELTS/FCE?

Hey all,just wanna have a discussion about different ENG language testing exams. B-)
Which one do you prefer to take?TOEFL/IELTS/FCE..?Why?
Or which exam have you taken?Has it been useful?Are u satisfied with it? ​

there is also GRE i guess i don't know much about it i just know it's more difficult than toefl

between these i think it depends on you, why you want to take that exam, for example you wanna know how good your english is or because you want to apply for a university or...

FCE stands or First Certificate in English.It's an exam for people who need to prove they can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level for work or study purposes.It's British & related to Cambridge university.
I don't like the style of IELTS & FCE.'Cuz of the British accent in listening parts & lots of old-fashioned British words in the passages.​

between these i think it depends on you, why you want to take that exam, for example you wanna know how good your english is or because you want to apply for a university or...

GRE is needed for entering some universities in US.This exam is really more difficult than the othr exams.
And it has 2 versions:General & subject
Yep,right.But here we're gonna talk about the ones who wanna know how good their ENG is.'cuz for universities you have no choice.They say which exam you have to take.​

I don't have any experience about this exams so I can't say anything
but I prefer to take Tofel exam because I think it is more admissible than the others for going abroad

IELTS is better!
First, in Iran it's more useful than the others.
Second, every where in the world the foreign people speak English in British language not American.
I was about to take It's exam but I left it because of the Entrance Exam (Konkur)​

I haven't tried any International exam yet, but now I'm on FCE Course with its own book.

As our friend said , FCE is one of the ESOL Exams and is taken by Cambridge University.

I myself choose none of them , caz there's no need.

IELTS is bounded for two years I suppose, however FCE hasn't got any expiry.

And of course , IELTS is a higher level.

GRE & then TOEFL are the most advanced Exams among the mentioned Eng language testing exams,but yeah between FCE & IELTS,as u said,IELTS is in a higher level.

Get this book: Vocabulary and Tests for TOEFL by Dr. Hossein Farhadi & Mahmood Moradian. Published by Rahnama Press in 2009. It's great for Toefl Learners and also useful for FCE, CAE, CPE and even IELTS...x​

I think it depends on the reason you're taking the exam if you want to take it to apply for a foreign country then it depends on the country you want to apply for if it is USA then for sure TOEFL is the best but if you look for countries like England then IELTS is the best choice.
But if you just want to take the exams so that you have sth to show you're good in English then it depends on the way you have learnt English in the Institute you have gone to .If you have studied American English then you can take TOEFL exam but if you have studied British English then IELTS is a better choice.
And about FCE I think it's good to take it so that you are more ready for more advanced exams​
