At all ; i think we don't need close friends to have good social relationships ! in the other hand some of friendships are just a waste of time . so we can be a sociable person ( not lonely :d ) without close friends !

I think when someone fall in love,prefer not to speak with other.cuz maybe no one can percieve him/her....l
