it means, totaly, to make a terrible start on something.
its an opposite for "put your best foot forward. two choices: right foot, or wrong foot. right foot is also used.
example: he put the wrong foot on his relationship whith zahra. its hard now to reach her heart.

در حقیقت، معنای این جمله شروع کردن شاتباه یا بد یک پروژه یا رابطه هست. در مقابل عبارت "بهترین قدم رو به جلو" دو انتخاب هست؛ یکی گام درست را برداشتن و یکی گام غلط رو برداشتن. هردو استفاده میشه و دومی به معنای اشتباه آغاز کردن هست.
مثال: او گام اولش در ارتباتش با زهرا را بد برداشت. اکنون به دست آوردن دلش کار سختیست.

I have a question again ! What does "you can't beat that game " mean ? It means you can not find better games than that game,doesn't it​

To beat a game means, to win it especially when the game is not played against another human(e.g. it is a computer game), so, "you' can't beat that game" means, you won't be able to win/finish it.​

The verb "beat" has several meanings, some of them are: hit, defeat, be better than, etc.

As I said "There sb go/goes "has 3 different meanings in different situations.
For example:
1:
-This CD will be $8. -There u go.
2:
There u go. I told you it was easy.
You switch on,push in the disk and there u go!
3:
There u go_that's what they're like.
I know it's not ideal but there u go.

Actually "pull sb's leg" means to tell someone something that is not true as a way of joking with them.So you've got to be pulling on my leg means "I think you're teasing me."

Go clean sth of mine is a kind of rude order.when sb says it,he/she orders sb to do sth hard,boring or annoying for him/her.

If you want to improve your reading & comprehension skills you'd better read Eng stories,& after finishing the book,ask yourself some questions about the details of the story

There's also a book called"Select Readings"which can help you.
It has different levels for different Eng learners.​

First of all,for your information,reading Eng stories is really useful.
and second of all,Most of the story books for English learners, have some questions at the end.
Be polite in this forum,& don't use such words anymore.

em... that would be :" stories... not really good. if you want to improve try some exiting stories like "gone with the wind" youll be really booted at the end
i really have to admit, learner stories never get u much skill, but if u do use 'em, use the level one up yours!

BUT

just introduce a word for "bullsh.." and ill use it. theres no, i promise ya
